Inspired by Walt Disney, I decided to make my own animation. However, unlike the cell animation that Walt mostly did, I made a stop motion animation. In cell animation, many drawings are made, taken pictures of, and run in sequence. In the stop motion that I did, real life objects are moved slightly, taken pictures of and then moved slightly again. Just like cell animation, they are then run in sequence to create the illusion of movement.
Normally animators like Disney either use 12 or 24 frames in a sequence to make 1 second of animation. For this animation, I used 20 fps. I used approximately 340 separate pictures for this animation, and it took me about 2.5 hours to make.
